JBL Flip 7, Portable Waterproof Speaker

Features and technical details

JBL has introduced the Flip 7, an upgraded portable Bluetooth speaker with AI-enhanced sound and improved wireless features.

JBL has enhanced the Flip series with AI-powered audio tuning through its JBL AI Sound Boost algorithm, which optimizes sound in real-time.

The Flip 7 features a high-performance acoustic chamber with an independent tweeter, a race-track shaped mid-bass driver, and dual passive radiators.

This setup ensures well-balanced audio with deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs, delivering an immersive experience in any environment.

It comes with an IP68-rated dustproof and waterproof design, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The rugged fabric mesh and sturdy construction ensure resistance against dust, water immersion, and accidental drops.

The Flip 7 is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, whether it’s heavy rain, sandstorms, or being submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.

The Flip 7 is powered by Bluetooth 5.4, providing faster pairing speeds, lower latency, and improved energy efficiency.

Additionally, it supports Auracast, allowing users to pair multiple compatible JBL speakers for a stereo experience or synchronized multi-speaker playback.

This feature enables users to create an expansive soundstage, perfect for parties and outdoor events.

For those seeking lossless audio, the Flip 7 includes a USB Type-C audio input integrated with a high-quality DAC chip, ensuring a premium listening experience when connected to computers or compatible devices.

The Flip 7 sports a fast-detachable carrying accessory system with JBL’s innovative Pushlock mechanism, making it easy to attach and remove accessories like a wrist strap or carabiner.

It is powered by a high-capacity lithium-ion polymer battery, offering up to 14 hours of continuous playback, with an additional 2 hours using Playtime Boost mode.

Charging is via USB Type-C, while Playtime Boost extends battery life by adjusting bass and disabling EQ settings.
